Nathan noticed Danielle on his 22nd birthday at a party. He claims once he left, he kept thinking about the girl "in the striped shirt." Our mutual friend gave Danielle his number and they had their first date a few days later: a picnic on the oval.

We started dating a month after their first date and met each others families that summer.

Our first trip was one to remember. Originally we were going to hike at Yosemite and Sequoia National Parks. However, those were snowed out. While we were there, it rained so much California was officially declared to be out of a drought! Shout out to Aunt Marge and Uncle Jay for letting us visiting them in California that time.

After Danielle graduated from college, we moved into our first apartment together.

Danielle just wanted to take this chance to brag about winning the masters lottery.

We walked around The Ohio State University and went to the location of our first date. Our sisters set up some pillow and blankets near Scioto Park where Nathan proposed. Our immediate family was waiting at our apartment to celebrate together afterwards.
